It is a win-win either way... don't worry or stress about it

Hi from Dr. Cone. It is getting hot here in Texas... and at the same time life seems to be getting back more towards normal. People are shopping, eating out, working. That is all great news. Some people ask me about the Covid vaccine and whether I think it is a good idea or not. I am of two minds about it.

Firstly, it is an experimental drug. It has actually not been approved by the FDA. It does not have a track record yet of being tested on enough people for a few years. Also, it has some side-effects on some people. Some people can have some thromboembolisms after the injection and/or multisystem inflammatory problems. Minor problems such as dizziness and feeling sick or spacey have been observed at my clinic after the vaccine. So, avoiding the vaccine if you want will be a win if you want to avoid the possible side-effects.

On the other hand, getting the vaccine will help you calm down and relax. Sometimes that is just worth it. You know? So, having gotten the vaccine may just help everyone calm down. That is a great thing. But I highly recommend that if you do get the vaccine that you hop over to the office to get checked right after. I see a lot of patients needing detox help after it. That would be highly helpful.

And lastly, just as a bonus, I believe the best thing of all (which is not talked about in media) is to have a strong immune system. What helps? Well, not watching negative TV or listening to radio helps... when I turn on TV or radio it just keeps harping on negative stuff which wears you out. You don't have to listen to it. Avoid food allergies if you have them. Take extra zinc, vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin K, elderberry juice. Get enough sleep. Give and receive affection and be around positive people.
